Africa House successfully strengthens economic ties between Africa and the U.S. at high-level event during U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit

Africa House, a platform connecting African opportunities with global leaders, hosted a highly successful event in Washington D.C. during the U.S.-Africa Leaders’ Summit. Organized by Nikkole-Charlene Wilkerson in collaboration with Africa House, the event brought together influential U.S. and African leaders to bolster economic relationships and facilitate access to capital.

The gathering, aligned with the Biden-Harris Administration's focus on African economic development, yielded tangible business outcomes and strengthened diplomatic ties between the U.S. and Africa, particularly with the African Diaspora. Participants included prominent figures like Mayor Sylvester Turner of Houston, Dr. Benedict Oramah of Afreximbank, and several African ministers and executives.

"This meeting marks a significant milestone in fostering economic collaboration between Africa and the U.S.," said Nikkole-Charlene Wilkerson. "We are committed to supporting the growth and development of the continent in partnership with the Biden-Harris Administration and other stakeholders."

Nima Elmi, CEO and Co-Founder of Africa House, expressed enthusiasm about the event's success, stating, "Leaders left with tangible business and economic outputs, underscoring the event's impact on U.S.-Africa relations."

Building on this momentum, Africa House has scheduled its next event in Davos, Switzerland, during the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting. This continued commitment to facilitating impactful connections between Africa and the global community demonstrates Africa House's dedication to driving economic growth and development across the continent.
